With a background in account handling, planning and PR, Giles enjoys both the strategic and the creative side of copywriting. Over the past five years he has completed projects across a wide range of business sectors from retail to IT.
Giles spent 10 years working in a PR consultancy with blue-chip fmcg and business-to-business clients including BT, Weetabix, Perrier, Motorola, Lloyds TSB and Cellnet, before turning full-time to copywriting in 1997.
With experience in account handling and planning at board level, Giles will always look at a copywriting brief from a marketing point of view, rather than just responding with well crafted sentences. His copywriting experience includes projects completed for brochures, websites, scripts and advertisements.
