Menna has worked in communications for 17 years.

She spent six years working as brand communications manager with the Welsh Development Agency (now the Welsh Assembly Government) where she was responsible for the food sector, managing all communications, from writing ministers’ speeches through to consumer magazines.

More recently she worked in local government in Somerset, before taking the leap into a freelance career in July 2007. She is experienced in writing a broad range of copy, from news articles and press releases through to brochures, websites, leaflets, and speeches.

She is passionate about plain English and about ensuring copy is carefully targeted at its audience.

Menna is happy to turn her skills to writing almost anything, although she has particular expertise in food, tourism, agriculture and government communications. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
