In the news - Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards 2011

We were delighted to see that a number of past and present clients have made it into the 2011 Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards shortlist.

The Best Practice Awards serve to encourage best practice in investor communications. Categories include both printed and digital communications, and Annual Reports are the focus of the majority of the awards.

Although historically Annual Reports focused on information for investors, today they are read by a wide variety of stakeholders including competitors, consumers and employees. So there’s a fine balance to strike in creating something that engages everyone and clearly communicates the key messages relevant to each audience.

The awards celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, and winners will be announced on the 22 November. With African Barrick Gold, BAE Systems, Tullow Oil, Pennon Group, TelecityGroup and Rexam all shortlisted in various categories we’d like to wish them all the best of luck.
